Woke up this morning revitalized, clear head and full of energy. I must admit mentally I am wanting to eat something, anything. It’s more the action of eating opposed to drinking, not so much feeling hungry.
I started off with the “LOAD” juice which contains: beet, apple, broccoli, spinach, carrot, celery, cucumber, lemon and ginger.
These past 3 days have flown by and I can’t believe I’m a just few juices away from completing my detox. Saya has also given me a few vegan soups that I will add into my diet over the next few days as my body starts readjusting to food.
Tomorrow I will be starting my day off with some healthy muesli and Greek yoghurt. I will also be munching on some celery, carrots and nuts throughout the day. This cleanse has made me realize that although I eat quite healthy in the week, that I possibly wasn’t eating enough! I will prep some healthy balanced salads for lunches from now on and continue drinking loads of water.
This juice detox has made me more aware of what I’m putting into my body and how often. I plan on setting cheat days for myself, cutting my coffee down to 2 cups per day and to start making my daily smoothies again, as I unfortunately don’t own juicer.
It’s now 12pm and I am experiencing the same irritating headache as yesterday. I am so close to the finish line now, there is no turning back!!
